Erin received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies from Assumption University in Massachusetts and holds her Masters of Arts degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Connecticut. She is currently pursuing her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Erin is Level 1 PROMPT trained to support her work with clients who have motor speech disorders.
Erin has worked with clients of all ages in outpatient and public school settings. She has experience working with hearing loss, autism spectrum, gestalt language processors (GLPs), language and pragmatic language disorders, speech sound disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. Her clinical passion includes working with deaf and hard of hearing clients to support their listening and spoken language, working with individuals who have pragmatic language challenges, and empowering each and every one of her patients to develop strong self-advocacy skills.
When not at Speakology, you can find Erin hiking in the mountains, running, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets.
